Weekly Meetings

Rotary Club of Coral Gables meets for lunch the first four Thursdays of every month at 12:15 p.m. at the Hyatt-Regency Hotel, 50 Alhambra Plaza, Coral Gables

Way back in 1905, when Paul Harris started the first Rotary Club in Chicago, Illinois, the purpose of the weekly meetings, which were held at the member’s places of business, was to make new friends, network among people of a like-minded persuasion, pay tribute to God and Country, raise money for local projects and causes and learn more about what was happening locally and globally in order to effect change.  That purpose has not changed in 120 years.

Rotary Club of Coral Gables strives to make our meetings FUN.  But in keeping with Rotary tradition, the meetings are centered around the four pillars of Rotary, Fellowship, Ethics, Service and Peace.  We focus the meetings on our members and their contributions to the Club, the community and their professions.  We encourage members to support and join in the service projects in which we engage.  We raise money to support our causes and initiatives.

But the thing that makes Coral Gables Rotary stand out is the caliber of the programs and speakers the Club presents every week.  The topics are timely, the presenters eloquent and their subjects offer our members insight into some of the most important issues facing our community today.

Here’s just a few of our speakers…
